Starting Bagger Scout has been a dream come true.

I’ve always loved making every motorcycle I’ve owned my own. I’ve never owned a bike I didn’t like, but some fit better than others — and my 2019 Scout Classic is the best motorcycle I’ve ever owned. It just fits me.

I don’t want a 900-pound bike. For me, around 500 pounds is perfect. But I still wanted the features bigger bikes offer:

Storage.

LED lighting.

Real luggage systems.

If bigger bikes cost over $20,000, it seems reasonable that I should be able to build the Scout I actually want — without giving up the size, feel, and ride I love.

That idea is what started it all. I began fitting hard cases to my Scout, and along the way I found even more accessories I wanted but couldn’t find anywhere.

Bagger Scout is me building the accessories I always wanted — because nobody else was making them right.

Veteran owned

As a 20+ year US Army veteran i know that trust and respect are never just given. Too many of us have been forced to “respect the rank” all too many times when the person behind it failed to earn our respect and trust.

i will never ask that anybody “respect the rank’’ as i build bagger Scout. I’m treating my position with bagger Scout just like any fighting position: always improving and always evolving.

Bagger Scout will launch this year and that’s just the beginning. I’m massively excited to launch and check that box, it’s a massive milestone. But, year over year our lineup will expand, existing items will improve and everything will continuously evolve to not only earn your trust but continue to earn it every day.

What does it mean to be veteran owned? It’s a deeper question than i ever thought it was. many companies give 10% discounts on holidays and/or give 10% to veterans causes.

My vision isn’t any set amount of giving. no business can give everything but I pledge to give 10% to the organizations that stand by veterans like the American Legion and VFW who actively lobby for our rights and benefits but still giving to programs that help Veterans directly.

throughout America’s history our Native American Brothers and Sisters-in-arms have stood and fought to save this nation as well as their ways of life. There’s no greater honor than standing to serve and defend a nation that is not natively yours. yet many Native American veterans go unmentioned, they don’t yell it and they don’t ask for anything more than any other Veteran.

To honor the service of our Native American veterans Bagger Scout will offer the same discount but I pledge to honor Native American causes equally as those that are faced by all Veterans>
